How Disney has inspired me

Most people I know are always confused as to why I love Disney so much. Whilst they listen to songs in the charts and I prefer to lay back and listen to Colours of the Wind

People prefer to go about their daily lives by their normal routines unlike me however. I day dream about lands that don't exist but should. Like Westeros. But with less of the violence.

People seem to keep up to date on current affairs such as elections and who got murdered in the alley next to that creepy barber shop. I just think to myself "If I had a world of my own...everything would be nonsense."

Now, I know you may be thinking that I sound crazy but I'm not. I just don't let society tell me I can't be who I want to be. You see, I was raised in a strict family that believes that the minds of children should stay innocent for as long as possible. Somethings I was against, but somethings I am grateful for. I always loved watching Disney and other animated movies. The imagery and stories gave me my creative imagination. My most favourite Disney movie was the Little Mermaid. The music and characters were so colourful and fun. I always wanted to be a mermaid. While kids my age were out burning paper bags and experimenting with cigarettes, I was indoors dressed in a crop top, colourful socks and PJ bottoms which I actually managed to stuff both legs into one trouser leg. It was supposed to be my tail. Such creativity.

As some of you know from my third vlog, I mentioned that I like to listen to my Disney playlist and imagine it came from another movie or TV show. It's true! I can imagine Daenarys Targaryen and Khal Drago from Game of Thrones dancing whilst a Dolthraki woman sings Beauty and the Beast. I think it would have been better that way.

I wish life was a Disney movie. It would be fun that way. People breaking into random songs. Tigers and monkeys are more common pets. People would fly...

I feel like I could go on forever about how Disney makes me feel. I hope you actually could bear to read it. Anyway, until next time, Brochachos!
